Arcadia University prepares students for life in a rapidly
changing global society. As a private comprehensive, independent institution,
Arcadia University offers men and women a broad range of undergraduate
and graduate programs on its suburban Philadelphia campus
and through its Center for Education Abroad.
Arcadia University prides itself on meeting the changing educational,
career, and developmental needs of students, alumni and the
local community while emphasizing the strengths of a liberal
education. Non-sectarian, with strong historic ties to the
Presbyterian Church, Arcadia University is committed to serving

HOUSING
Approximately 70% of the undergraduate population lives in
one of six residence halls and four apartment complexes. The
undergraduate, graduate and professional staffs provide many
activities and programs that encompass a variety of areas
including educational, social, cultural, and recreational
aspects of personal development. This office also coordinates
all aspects of the housing program, including room selection.
The Code of Conduct and other residence hall policies are
enforced through the Student Affairs Office. This office also

ACTIVITIES
Student Activities supports a comprehensive program of co-curricular
activities that assist student transition to college life
by working closely with students, faculty, and staff. The
cultural, social, recreational and educational programs supported
by Student Activities are designed to create a positive learning
experience which opens new horizons, ideas, and social outlets.
Through programming, involvement in the over 45
clubs and organizations active on campus, leadership and
service, students also have the opportunity to stimulate personal
growth and contribute to the campus community.

DIRECTIONS TO ARCADIA
Arcadia University is located on Easton Road, between Routes
73 and 309.
From the Pennsylvania Turnpike
Take the Fort Washington exit (#339). Proceed south on Route 309 to the Flourtown Exit Rt. 73. Make a left at the traffic light at the end of the ramp (73 East) to Rt. 73/Church Road. After the fourth light, look for first campus entrance on the right.
From the Tacony Palmyra Bridge and
the Betsy Ross Bridge
Take Cottman Avenue (Route 73 West). Cottman Avenue becomes Township Line Road (still Route 73). Follow Route 73 as it makes a left turn onto Washington Lane. Make a right turn onto Church Road (Route 73) and continue to Arcadia University. Take second entrance on left into the campus.
From the Ben Franklin Bridge
Follow signs to Route 676 West then to Route 76 West (Schuylkill
Expressway). Take the Lincoln Drive exit (#340A-old #32);
follow Lincoln Drive to Emlen Street. Turn left onto Emlen
(which changes to Cresheim Valley Drive) and follow until
it dead-ends at Stenton Avenue. Turn right on Stenton and
move left immediately turning left at first light (Ivy Hill
Road). Take Ivy Hill Road until it dead-ends and turn right
on Cheltenham Avenue. Turn left at the first light, Easton
Road. You will go through one traffic light then pass the
entrance to Route 309. Go under the Route 309 overpass and
immediately bear left into the Arcadia University Campus.
From southern New Jersey and the Walt
Whitman Bridge
Follow signs from your area to the Walt Whitman Bridge. Cross
bridge and follow signs for Route 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway).
Follow to Lincoln Drive Exit (#340A-old #32). Once on Lincoln
Drive follow the directions above (from the Ben Franklin Bridge).
From northern New Jersey
Take New Jersey Turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike exit
#6. Go west on the Pennsylvania Turnpike to the Fort Washington
exit (#339-old #26). Proceed south on Route 309 approximately
5 miles to the second Easton Road exit (Glenside). Follow
exit ramp around onto Easton Road. Go under the Route 309
overpass and immediately bear left into the Arcadia University
campus.
From the Commodore Barry Bridge, Wilmington,
Baltimore, and Points South
Take Route 95 North to Route 476 North (Plymouth Meeting),
to the Pennsylvania Turnpike interchange. At entrance bear
right, take the PA Turnpike East toward New Jersey. Take the
Fort Washington exit (#339-old#26). Proceed south on Route
309 approximately 5 miles to the second Easton Road exit (Glenside).
Follow the exit ramp around onto Easton Road. Go under the
Route 309 overpass and immediately bear left into the Arcadia
University campus.
From Philadelphia International Airport
Take Route 95 South to Route 476 North (Plymouth Meeting),

By Train
Take the SEPTA R5 or R2 lines to Glenside Station. Use SEPTA
#22 bus or taxicab or walk south along Easton Road to Arcadia
University.
By Bus
Take the SEPTA #22 to Arcadia University. Connect with the
#22 from Broad Street Subway and SEPTA bus routes C, #18 and
#26 at SEPTA center at Broad Street and Olney Avenue. From
Mt. Airy/Cedarbrook take the SEPTA H bus and transfer to SEPTA
#22 at Cheltenham Avenue and Easton Road.
